Staff very helpful, giving us good clear instructions. But nothing prepares you for 21 locks on a very hot day. It was great fun but was ready to go to the pub in the evening. Took a lovely route through the local towns and countryside, with a stop at a pub beside the canal. Tina showed us around the boat and then Dean and Oliver guided us through the first two locks. We managed to go to Knowle and back which was great fun. This company is located on the Grand Union Canal and its very close to the junctions to go explore other canals. They have a good webpage with preplanned routes ,but you can do you own thing if preplanned is not to your liking. We had a week vacation down to Stratford Upon Avon onabord the "ACORN". Boat was clean and set up wel on are arrival, we recived a earlier handoff then sceduled. During the Handoff we recived good traning on operation,rules and locks, we where well equiped for our first journey on a narrow boat. During our week, if we had questions they where answered 24/7 by the owner directly , great customer support and service. Can recommend this company 100% .
