Upon leaving Lyons Boatyard you can pass through a 250metre long tunnel on a three hour cruise that will get you in the heart of Birmingham.
Head South again onto the Worcester & Birmingham Canal towards Tardebigge. Shortly after Kings Norton junction you will enter the Wasthills Tunnel which is 2,493 metres long and takes approximately 35-45 minutes to complete.
South towards Earlswood along this tranquil stretch of canal through steep, tree lined embankments to the drawbridge where you will need your BW key (provided) to reach the Drawbridge pub on the other side which serves pub grub and is reasonably priced.

This route will allow you to navigate the Grand union canal and take in the beautiful countryside and surrounding areas, there are no locks to worry about on this route and you will be able to navigate between The Cape Of Good Hope Public House and Radford Semeley where you will find the White Lion for a spot of lunch.
